Antique 19c Jacobean style oak sideboard in perfect condition. Features raised back, the base with drawers and cupboards, barley twist legs. These sideboards, servers or buffets were necessities of the 18th, 19th and early 20th century English kitchen or dining room. No pantries or other storage to speak of in the average English country home of the era. Simple and practical but full of charm and character. Just what you would expect to see in the downstairs kitchen or servants' dining room on Downton Abbey!
