This Mid-Century Italian side or dining chairs are made of brass and comes with a padded seat, upholstered in velvet. The chair was designed by Giuseppe Gaetano Descalzi for Chiavari, named after the Italian city from where these chairs originated. The small town, located between Genoa and the Cinque Terre, began producing these chairs at the beginning of the 19th century.
